SELF SHARPENING DOCTOR BLADE FOR ROTOGRAVURE AND FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING
The production of printing Doctor Blade in the graphic field requires the usage of cold-rolled steel ribbon band having an high mechanical quality and a perfect linearity and homogeneity of the crystal structure necessaries to obtain optimal and constant printing quality.

Reprochem Company, ISO 9001 certified, produces Doctor Blades using steel coming from the best worldwide productions, whose quality, beside been mechanically and chemically certified from the metallurgical producers, it is also verified in our Laboratory, equipped with modern instrumentations that are partially used also for the production of the chemical products for the graphic field.

The production and control technology considers also the remarkable knowledge on quality, hardness and roughness of the printing cylinder surfaces, developed by our technicians, for which Reprochem offers a wide range of products besides a deep consultancy and technical assistance.

Reprochem shows a special care to the control of the chemical composition features and of the hardness, straightness, superficial finishing, thickness tolerance, edge rounding and possible internal tension caused by working phases.

PRODUCTION LINE

RC and RCF Doctor Blade
Self sharpening stainless steel doctor blade, with high hardness, suitable for rotogravure and flexo printing. This is the standard type for an all-purpose use. The profile configuration and the tip thickness permit a long use maintaining a constant printing quality.

R-CE Doctor Blade
Self sharpening doctor blade whose tip is covered with a coating having high hardness and low friction coefficient. The used coating has a better resistance to the abrasion caused by pigments and by other components present in the ink. These features permit a lower tip consumption and as a consequence a longer printing duration besides a lower cylinder wear.

RA Doctor Blade
Standard stainless steel doctor blade with high hardness and with constant angle tip. They have a rounded edge and they are used when a lower sensibility to the printing pressure is required.
Not sharpened Doctor Blade
Stainless steel doctor blade with high hardness and rounded and polished edge. The edge is not sharpened for standard applications.

PACKAGING
The Self Sharpening Doctor Blade is packed into a not flexible carton box having an easy blade unrolling system which guarantees a secure handling and a good protection against weatherproof. Package for sale contains 100 mt of product but blade can also be supplied custom-made ready to use.
